No Sleep 'til CROISETTE!

It’s that time of the year again, get ready for overpriced drinks, scorching heat, pouring rain and badly-slept nights – the biggest film festival, Cannes, is here, and the Sons of Pitches are crashing the Croisette with our brilliant new pitches, get ready!

It’s been quite a hectic spring. Right after Berlin we rolled our sleeves and started to work! The productions we launched – the TV series Red Planet and Undertaker – have both been shaped in the last few months quite considerably – we’ve gathered our teams in both production and writing and started to etch out the big lines: the story, the episodes, and the characters, and building the financing. 

Our feature film slate with MC Helper franchise has gotten bolder with big plans for internationalization, and we’ve discussed with great partners to make the crazy story about a Finnish moped gang into an international phenomenon! And speaking of Finland, the Happiest Country in the World – we’re about to set out and find if that’s true with our documentary Depressed and Proud, which we’ve prepared ready for funding and crewing up.

Individually, the team has been hard at work – Timo has finished his latest movie 97 Minutes, coming out later this year, with Alec Baldwin headlining, and is getting ready to kick off his two new projects, a sci-fi film in August and later in the year, a black comedy. Tero and Josef have both been building up our slate and finding interesting new productions to hit the market with, and Tuomas is working on a good slate of films and TV series scores as well.
